Architect Mies van der Rohe said “God is in the details.”
Emily + Christopher, where do we begin. …
Emily is one of the most talented interior designers in the twin cities. She really put her skills to work at her wedding. Every element of the wedding was dazzling. No detail was too small. Emily is about to start a new business focusing on weddings. We wish her all the best.
The day began at the towering Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis. This was one of those days we worried about the weather. It was gray and rainy moments before we started photographing. Amazingly, everything cleared up and we were able to enjoy the perfect light. They weather couldn’t have been more cooperative.
Chris waited outside for Emily for their first meeting. Emily’s sister couldn’t resist sneaking a peak!
Chris picked a 76 Cadillac convertible as the get away car. The lack of a roof made it perfect for photographing with a sense of place.
The reception was held at The Depot Minneapolis. The interior was stunning. Stems + Vines provided the flowers, Studio 6 and Linen Effects set up the linens and chair covers and made the tables look absolutely stunning as always.
