The first week of September we were hired by the City of St. Paul to document parts of the Republican National Convention.
It was a surreal experience –
Protests, riot police, bustling businesses, people and more people, music, costumes, Secret service and FBI escorts, and a city employee driving me around in a golf cart for 4 days.

That was a great series with a great fantastic song! I swear I can’t stop wagging my head and tapping my toe… Great coverage- very non-partisan, well rounded and I appreciate the intimacy. Too many people forget about this part of covering a story. Nice to see there’s such fresh eyes in our city.
