St. Mary of Mount Carmel Wedding, Minnesota

This was one of those weddings that made it easy for us as photographers. The light was soft, the weather good, and most importantly (and not to be corny) there was joy everywhere! There’s just something wonderful about photographing weddings. People get all their friends and family together at one place and time. It’s quite a remarkable time to document in peoples lives. We’re your historians!

The ceremony was held at the historic St. Mary of Mount Carmel in Long Prairie.

Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria hosted the relaxing reception. The cocktail hour was held outside during the magical hour before the sun goes down.

Charis + Andrew

June 25th, 2005

dayton house, worthington minnesota

This Thursday wedding was anything but typical. From the hand made blue dress, jewelry, and cake, to the recently restored Dayton House in Worthington Minnesota. Charis and Andrew had an outstandingly perfect spring spring day.

Both being artists they had a hand in just about every detail. Family and friends were in on the creation too! Charis’ sister Christine worked a year and a half and has been a major driving force in the careful, true-to-period rehabilitation of the Victorian building known as the Dayton House. She carefully selected paint, furnishings and fixtures replicating the kind of design typical of the 1890s and early 1900.

Katie + Darren

June 23rd, 2005

interlachen country club, edina minnesota

The rain stopped at all the right times for Katie and Darren. The clouds just knew when to come and go. The ceremony was held at St. Patrick’s church in Edina with the service being performed by the charismatic Reverend Gregory T. Welch.

The spectacular reception was hosted at Interlachen Country Club.

A handful of superb wedding vendors from around the Twin Cities contributed their services including:

An exquisite cake from Gateaux, who recently won best cakes as well as best over all wedding vendor from the readers and advertisers of Minnesota Bride magazine. Lovely decor was provided by the perfect Linen Effects. Music from the Bruce Allard Quartet as well as the entertaining Adagio Entertainment filled the evening with joy. Lastly, who could forget the cool retro cars from Classic Auto.

Wedding at St. Paul Cathedral

Gorgeous flowers were provided by Fleur Di Lis.
Wedding at St. Paul Cathedral

There was a momentary pause in the rainy month of May that allowed us to walk through charming Rice park before the reception at the historic St. Paul Hotel.

Buttercream provided the delicious cake…. And just to make us jealous, Annie and Joe will be at the Sorbonne in Paris studying french all summer! Best wishes.
